Conference fees
Conference ticket: 30€ (Registration required) Single Day Ticket: 15€ (Subject to availability, only for sale on site)
The conference tickets includes:
- Access to all conference events, including social events
- Basic accommodation
- Catering during the day (no dinner)
Not included in the conference ticket:
- Participation at the farewell brunch
Scholarships & Cooperations
Diversity scholarships
We offer Diversity Scholarships for members of traditionally marginalised groups in academia, thanks to the supporters listed below. If you think you may be eligible, please get in contact at stuts71@stuts.de. If you are a Ukrainian student or if you are under financial hardship and might not be able to participate because of the fee, please also get in touch.
How to apply? Just send us an informal email with a short explanation why you should receive a diversity scholarship. If you feel you fit into one of the focus areas, please let us know in the email.
Focus areas
These scholarships are particularly targeted at students who fit into the individual profiles. Please mention your relationship to the focus areas in your application email.
- Deaf students - Gesellschaft für Gebärdensprache und Kommunikation Gehörloser (GGKG e.V.)
- Dutch Studies students from German-speaking countries - Niederlandistenverband
- Focus areas of the assocation (see website) - Variation, dialects, multilingualism - Internationale Gesellschaft für Dialektologie des Deutschen e.V.
- Students presenting their work in German - Gesellschaft für deutsche Sprache e. V.
- Spanish Studies students - Deutscher Hispanistenverband e.V.
Open call
These scholarships will be distributed independently of a particular profile. They are designed for students who would benefit from receiving a scholarship to attend the conference.

StuTS Scholarship
The association Junge Sprachwissenschaft e.V. offers two scholarships of EUR 50 each for the StuTS in Leeuwarden. You are only eligible for a scholarship if you are giving a talk. The following criteria will also impact the selection process:
- Distance between your home university and the StuTS location
- First-time participation at the StuTS
- No financial support of your university
- The abstract’s quality
Applications incl. abstract and short motivation statement can be sent in until April 17, 2022 via https://anmeldung.stuts.de/StuTS_Stipendium. The scholarships will be awarded by April 24, 2022.

For cancellations received up to two weeks prior to the conference, registration fees will be reimbursed.
