Coronavirus Information

Whatever 2022 throws at us, 71st Stuts and 31st TaCoS will happen in May! We have proceedings planned for four scenarios of differing contact restrictions:

A) If everything is solved and the pandemic is over in May, the conference can take place in person, exactly like it used to.-
B) If the situation is good, but the virus is still around, we will hold the proceedings in Leeuwarden, but require everybody to adhere to strict hygiene regulations.
C) If the numbers make it too risky to have people coming in from everywhere, we will limit proceedings in Leeuwarden to little more than keynotes which will also be livestreamed, and rely on streaming for the rest.
~~D) In a lockdown-situation similar to the one in place right now, StuTS and TaCoS will be held completely online, like the 67th to 69th StuTS were. ~~

Current regulations in the Netherlands and our conference

Official regulations

Regulations have largely been dropped in the Netherlands. For our conference, the following rules are in place:

  • Keep a 1.5 m distance from other participants, whenever possible.
  • Wear a medical mask, covering your mouth and nose, particularly when indoors.
  • Wash and disinfect your hands regularly, particularly before touching food.
  • Do not come to Leeuwarden, if you have symptoms of illness, regardless of whether you feel those are directly related to covid!

We will not be able to offer regular testing. However, we would like to encourage you to bring rapid tests for self-administration and test yourself regularly. You can also buy those in supermarkets and drugstores in Leeuwarden.
